Leah King-Smith's new media practice explores the threshold of perceptibility. Her work is potent with historical, psychological, spiritual and cultural references that invite interpretations from nature and the body through to family, history and the environment.
This exhibition employs photo media as an investigative tool to explore a reange of issues.
Including works on paper and video projection, her work is born out of drawings, analogeue and digital photographs, digital prints, Super 8 film, video, animatin technology and sound.
The exhibition represents the final presentation of King-Smith's doctoral studies in visual arts at QUT Creative Industries.
