A collection of views of people and faces featuring portraits by two major Dutch photographers, Hendrik Kerstens and Erwin Olaf, powerful oil sketches of diverse 'village people' in Brisbane in the 1980s by Richard Dunlop, and some very unusual portraits drawn from the QUT Art Collection.

Presented in conjunction with QUT the Cube, our inaugural family holiday portraiture program Draw It. Code It. runs from 6 to 14 January alongside the exhibition.

QUT acknowledges the Turrbal and Yugara, as the First Nations owners of the lands where QUT now stands. We pay respect to their Elders, lores, customs and creation spirits. We recognise that these lands have always been places of teaching, research and learning. QUT acknowledges the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people play within the QUT community.
