Exhibition Descriptive Tours

Join us on a sensory tour of the exhibition Vis-ability: Artworks from the QUT Art Collection at QUT Art Museum and explore alternative ways of understanding vision. Lead by a trained museum educator, our descriptive tours for visitors who are blind or have low vision incorporate vivid verbal descriptions and discussion, as well as tactile experiences of selected artworks.

One hour descriptive tours are available by request for groups of two or more, Tuesday to Thursday 10AM – 4PM, 14 May to 1 August, subject to staff availability.

Sighted companions and guide dogs are welcome.

To book or make a query, contact QUT Art Museum on 07 3138 5370 or artmuseum@qut.edu.au. Please provide your full name, phone number, tour date and time, and total number of attendees.

New to QUT Art Museum? If you would like gallery staff to meet you ahead of time to walk to the Art Museum please let us know. We can meet you at the entry to QUT on the corner of Alice and George Street, opposite Parliament House. Buses stop along Alice and George street, and there is a car drop off point at this location.
