Photography Then and Now panel discussion

Join exhibiting artists, Geoff Kleem, Julie Rrap and Robyn Stacey in a conversation about the enduring influence of the practitioners featured in the National Gallery's Touring exhibition Photography in the 1980s and their impact on contemporary creative practice.

Through discussion and audience Q&A, panellists will reflect on the influence of artists featured in the exhibition and consider how their work continues to shape contemporary creative practice.

This program offers insight into the social, cultural and artistic themes that resonate across generations and disciplines, highlighting the ongoing relevance of photography as a medium for storytelling, identity and cultural commentary.

Moderated by Shaune Lakin Senior Curator, Photography at the National Gallery of Australia.
